Keystone XL Pipeline construction begins in County

TC Energy has started work on the Keystone XL pipeline in Phillips County, according to a company spokesperson, and about 100 workers from the Bozeman, Mont., construction firm are in both Phillips and Valley counties.

Bozeman is part of Gallatin County which currently is home to nearly 39-percent of the 299 COVID-19 virus cases in Montana, but the Phillips County Commissioners Office told the PCN that the company was way ahead most of the state in social distancing and safety protocols and there is no concern from their office about the workers being in the county.
