One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 8, 2020

Greetings for a blessed Easter. Even with social distancing, stay at home, and wash, wash, wash, it is still humbling to me to realize that God gave his only son to save us! And then He arose and is sitting at the right hand of God!

The temperatures this week were colder, and snow was on the ground. But I know for a fact that spring will be here soon for like three days, one day of summer then right into fall and winter! That's Montana!

I see a few Easter decorations have sprouted up around our little town! A bunny is standing guard near the Fire Hall, and by Paul’s tree. Several chicks are cheering up the landscape! You'll have to drive out to see these gems to celebrate Easter!

Gwen Henderson called me from Chester just to ask how I was doing. We talked for a while and she is doing well! Just like when she lived here, she's working on Lutheran World Relief quilts! Just so generous!

After the snow melted, I saw that my tulips were still green! Yea! I might get some blossoms this year!

Get well wishes from Loring community to Cody Salveson who has been in the hospital in Billings for a while. We all wish him the best! Hard to be sick during this pandemic!

A shout out to Bonnie McMullen who has been in Billings since her heart surgery, working at getting stronger. She is hoping to be home soon after Easter.

So, until next week, hug your loved ones! You just never know.
