Hi-Line Retirement Center plans Mother's Day Celebration and parade

The Hi-Line Retirement Center is planning a special Mother's Day celebration on Monday, May 11, 2020, and we would appreciate your help to pull this off.

1– We would like a picture of your mother (loved one) in her early years for a “Guess Who” for our bulletin board. With your permission, we might use it on our Facebook page as well in the same manner. This is required no later than May 5.

2– As we are unsure of our status in regards to the quarantine, we are planning a parade in honor of our mothers/loved ones. Plan to meet in the Hospital parking lot, no later than 11:15 a.m., parade to begin by 11:30 SHARP. With horns honking, space your decorated (if you wish) cars, pickups, golf carts, etc. 10 feet apart.

3– A special luncheon, complete with table cloths and flowers will follow for our residents. A pie social will take place at 2:30.

4– We are also planning a “Card Shower” with the theme “What You Mean To Me”, to be read at the Pie Social. Please write a short note or a card of choice, and pass this message along to family members. If the little ones would like to get involved, we would gladly accept “Love Letters” and/or pictures.

We are very excited about our Mother's Day plans and hope you are as well! Please help us make this day as special as we think your loved ones are.
