4:23 p.m. Male reported a vehicle parked on his property off of Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputies responded to the call; registered owners located and advised to move the vehicle.

5:02 p.m. Deputies incarcerated one adult male, Robert Reed, in PCSO Jail on two MHP warrants; case file started.

8:40 p.m. Male reported a suspicious vehicle parked off of Hwy 191 south, near the Bear Gulch turnoff; Deputies responded to the call; male found to be homeless, vehicle was disabled and the Deputies gave him a ride to a nearby residence.

May 22, 2020

1:17 p.m. 911 received reporting a fender/bender in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:12 p.m. 911 received reporting a disabled vehicle, lots of people and the caller advising the people “were following him” on a gravel road north of Nelson Reservoir; Deputy responded to the call; male found to be all by himself and vehicle was not disabled.

3:10 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a restraining order issue; Deputy handled the call.

4:13 p.m. Deputy received a complaint about a vehicle parked too close to a stop sign; owner located and advised to move the vehicle.

10:58 p.m. Male reported a possible DUI on Hwy 2, westbound, from the Sleeping Buffalo; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located and driving was fine.

May 23, 2020

2:16 a.m. Female advised she received a report of a cow and calf that had been hit on 7 Mile Road; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

9:11 a.m. Male reported a vehicle that appears to have been in an accident off of a road near Cole Ponds; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised an axle had broken and would be getting it removed that day.

11:11 a.m. Female reported a missing dog.

1:03 p.m. Male requested assistance with locating a tow truck for a vehicle stuck south of Sun Prairie Road; caller given the phone number for a tow truck.

4:30 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a vehicle stuck north of Saco on a gravel road; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; vehicle later located and an individual helped get the vehicle un-stuck.

5:04 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a male “blowing stuff up” in the Zortman area; Deputy responded to the call; male located and asked to stop.

6:04 p.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement at the hospital for a reported dog bite; Deputies and ACO responded to the call; case file started.

7:58 p.m. Female reported finding a dog and took it to her residence.

8:14 p.m. Deputies performed building security checks in the Zortman and Landusky areas.

9:54 p.m. Deputies performed building security checks in the Saco area.

10:10 p.m. Caller reported dogs barking in a pen outside of an apartment complex; owner located and advised to let the dogs inside.

10:21 p.m. Male reported individuals “having fires, drinking and partying” around the location of his dog pen and it was causing the dogs to bark; Deputies responded to the call; no one or any fires located in the reported area.

10:27 p.m. Female reported a commotion between two females behind a residence in Dodson; second call received reporting 2 “kids” walking on Hwy 2, west of Dodson; Deputies responded to the call; individuals later located; case file started.

10:52 p.m. Deputy requested another Deputy for assistance with the individuals involved in the above situation; one adult female, Erin Hawley, later taken into custody and transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Disorderly Conduct, Assault with Bodily Fluids-Felony-x2, Resisting Arrest and Assault on a Peace Officer charges.

11:24 p.m. Deputies transported one female to the Phillips/Blaine Co line to meet a friend to take her to her residence.

12:13 a.m. Female reported a party at a neighbor’s residence and two individuals were outside fighting/arguing, in Dodson; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

1:17 a.m. Deputies transported one adult male, Elijah Matt, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on a PCSO warrant and a Blaine Co SO warrant.

2:42 a.m. 911 received requesting assistance for an elderly female who fell several hours prior to this call; call transferred to Ft Belknap LE.

7:53 a.m. Anonymous reported an individual’s dogs were running loose; individual located and advised she would take care of her dogs.

9:39 a.m. Male reported theft of identity; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

9:49 a.m. Female reported individuals “partying and leaving trash” at a campsite at Nelson Reservoir; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

6:01 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy handled the call.

8:10 p.m. Anonymous reported a vehicle running all day long; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle located, no living being found in the area.

10:16 p.m. Female reported a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; white form issued.

9:51 p.m. Deputies performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

11:41 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle parked in front of the caller’s residence and had been running for quite a while; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay, individual was just being dropped off at a residence across the street.

9:22 a.m. Male requested a welfare check on a female at a local residence; Sheriff responded to the call; female found to be in the hospital since last week.

10:36 a.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Elijah Matt, from PCSO Jail on time served.

1:25 p.m. Reserve Deputy transported one adult female, Erin Hawley, from PCSO to Valley Co Detention Center to serve time.

1:31 p.m. Male reported a hitchhiker on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; hitchhiker not located.

2:34 p.m. Female reported a local business received a possibly threatening letter from a patron; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

5:55 p.m. 911 received reporting a disabled vehicle near the Underpass; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle removed from the location.

May 27, 2020

4:53 a.m. Life 360 received an alarm requesting assistance for a juvenile north of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay and a family member took the juvenile to their residence.

6:10 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving juveniles; Undersheriff responded to the call; information passed onto Dept of Child & Family Services worker; situation taken care of for the time being.

8:18 a.m. MT Dept of Transportation employee reported a slow-moving and erratic vehicle on Hwy 2, eastbound, towards Saco; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located in Phillips Co; information passed onto Valley Co SO.

8:47 a.m. Male requested assistance with an elderly female who was destroying a residence in Zortman; female may have been having a mental breakdown; Deputy, Reserve Deputy, and local EMT Crew responded to the call; female would not get into the ambulance so was transported in the patrol vehicle to the PC Hospital.

2:44 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

3:07 p.m. Female requested extra patrol around her neighborhood; information passed onto Deputies.

9:17 p.m. Deputies performed a security check on a camper with a door left open; all found to be okay and no one around; camper door closed and secured.

2:11 p.m. Deputy assisted an individual who was admitted into the hospital with putting their deliveries into their residence for safe keeping.

2:29 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

8:48 p.m. Female reported a vehicle driving erratically on the Content Road, about this same time, the last few nights; Deputy responded to the call; more patrol requested in the area.

10:25 p.m. Female reported a missing person; individual had possibly gotten into a semi truck at a local convenience store; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

1:43 a.m. Female reported individuals trying to break into her residence in Dodson; Deputies responded to the call; no one located in the reported area.

8:29 p.m. Male reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:46 a.m. Male reported trespassers to his property in the Frenchman area; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

12:08 p.m. Lewis & Clark Co SO reported they located the reported missing person in their county; family members advised and individual was returned home.

12:13 p.m. Male reported vandalism to property in the Loring area; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

1:56 p.m. Local EMT Crew reported to the PC Hospital for a ground transport to Havre.

2:24 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10am-9pm Saturday.

2:37 p.m. Male reported being threatened with a weapon by another male; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:37 p.m. Deputies served a local warrant on one adult female, Christine Hawes; female later bonded and given a Notice to Appear in Justice Court.

8:24 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Landusky, Zortman and Camp Creek Campground areas.

11:19 p.m. PC Hospital requested PCSO assistance with delivering a message to an individual at a local residence; Sheriff responded to the call; message delivered to the individual.

May 30, 2020

1:44 a.m. Sheriff and Deputies performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:24 a.m. 911 received reporting suspicious activity involving 2 juveniles in a residential neighborhood; Deputies responded to the call; juveniles located, parents contacted and citations issued; case file started.

5:00 a.m. Deputies transported one juvenile to PCSO on MIP, Assault, Ungovernable Youth, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass to Vehicles charges.

5:26 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 10am-9pm today.

6:21 a.m. Reserve Deputy transported one juvenile to Havre to meet and transfer custody of the juvenile to Cascade Co Juvenile Detention Center.

10:39 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance for a female who “barged” into the caller’s residence in the Whitewater area; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

11:23 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female with a progressively worse cough in the Loring area; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

12:20 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with getting his children back from a family member; second call received from the family member requesting law enforcement also; both parties advised this is a civil matter and needs to be handled in Court.

1:35 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from another female; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised this was a civil matter and she needed to contact an attorney for further assistance.

2:10 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 9pm Sunday.

2:12 p.m. Female reported a dog running loose by a local restaurant; information passed onto ACO.

2:44 p.m. Female requested assistance with “getting her kids back”; Deputy and Dept of Child & Family Services worker handled the call.

4:37 p.m. Male reported theft of checks but did not want assistance with the matter other than how to contact the bank on the weekend; Dispatcher handled the call.

4:42 p.m. Female reported receiving death threats; Deputies responded to the call; case file started and citations issued; extra patrol in the reporting party’s neighborhood also occurred.

5:30 p.m. Male reported a party that had occurred near his cabin at Nelson Reservoir and trash was left everywhere; Deputies patrolled more in the area.

5:32 p.m. MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with relaying Covid-19 tests to the Phillips County line to meet with another Trooper; Deputies handled the call.

5:57 p.m. Female reported theft of a firearm; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:35 p.m. Anonymous reported suspicious activity at a Saco residence; Deputies responded to the call; found to be the owner of the property.

10:55 p.m. Female reported seeing a flashlight on top of a building in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, just the business owner working on the air conditioner.

May 31, 2020

3:01 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 9pm tonight.

6:33 a.m. Male reported a vehicle in the ditch on Hwy 191 north of Malta; caller also reported a towing company was also on scene; Undersheriff responded to the call; driver was not intoxicated and vehicle was removed from the ditch.

2:49 p.m. Special Weather Statement: a thunderstorm with strong wind gusts has been located in southeastern Phillips Co; wind gusts of 40-50mph may occur.

3:29 p.m. Female reported an overdue motorist from the Libby area; Undersheriff responded to the call; information passed onto MHP Dispatch as well.

3:46 p.m. Significant Weather Advisory for east central Phillips Co until 430pm; half inch hail and 40mph gusts are possible.

5:05 p.m. Female requested an ambulance for a family member with unknown medical problems; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

8:46 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

9:19 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Nelson Reservoir area.

9:53 p.m. Male requested a welfare check on a female at a local residence; Deputies responded to the call; female located and was okay.

June 1, 2020

5:23 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on an individual out “walking”; all found to be okay.

1:36 p.m. Male reported being assaulted by another male and had to get medical attention; caller did not want to press charges just wanted the other male to stay away; Undersheriff handled the call.

2:26 p.m. Female reported a Violation of a Protection Order; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

4:17 p.m. Male filed a verbal complaint regarding a semi truck and trailer speeding on Hwy 2; caller advised they were now stopped in the construction zone west of Malta; information passed onto Undersheriff.

4:34 p.m. Male reported a possible phone fraud; Undersheriff handled the call.

8:18 p.m. Female reported finding clothes and shoes near the canal check; caller advised there was no one around the area; Deputies responded to the location; articles removed from the area; parents of the juveniles involved located and property later returned to the juveniles.

Parents please remember that your children may be tempted to swim or jump off the walk bridges and catch areas of the canal during the warmer days. This is a very dangerous idea, especially near the catch areas. The under currents can pull them under and they may lose their life. Please warn your children and try to keep them away from the areas.

8:36 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a juvenile driving a side by side around the block and down the alley all day; Deputy handled the call.

8:59 p.m. Female reported a possible attempted burglary to her garage; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

11:41 p.m. Female reported juveniles trying to steal items from a neighbor’s property; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay, was neighbors across the street and they were trying to not make a lot of noise.

June 2, 2020

2:30 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

12:07 p.m. Female reported a two-vehicle fender/bender in the downtown area; no injuries to the occupants; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

2:02 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 9am-7pm Wednesday.

8:21 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female with a broken ankle; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

9:53 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

June 3, 2020

1:04 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:44 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 9am-7pm today.

9:13 a.m. Female reported a tree across Hwy 191 north and was blocking the road way; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; MT Dept of Transportation employees were all at a training; tree later removed from the roadway.

11:07 a.m. Male reported theft of property from the Zortman area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

2:28 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7pm.

2:44 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with an on-going property dispute in the Wagner area; male also advised the other party was planning on doing damage to the part the caller had fixed; Deputy responded to the call; male advised to also contact the Justice of the Peace as this is also a civil situation.

3:04 p.m. Male reported a hitchhiker in the ditch east of Malta off of Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; hitchhiker not located.

3:54 p.m. Anonymous caller reported a suspicious vehicle with out of state plates in a residential/business area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and all found to be okay.

4:06 p.m. Female reported an underage driver on a side by side; Deputies responded to the call; juvenile’s family located and advised.

6:46 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory is canceled.

7:17 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from another female; caller advised she had a court order; Deputy handled the call.

June 4, 2020

1:03 a.m. 911 received reporting a male banging on the residential door and would not leave; Deputies responded to the call; male removed from the residence for the night.

2:34 a.m. Deputies reported they would be out with juveniles in a residential area; parents of all juveniles located and juveniles returned to their residences.

6:50 a.m. Male reported seeing a moose on the north side of Malta; information passed onto local Fish & Game Warden and Deputy; moose not located.

11:43 a.m. Male requested to speak to a Deputy regarding a situation involving his wife; Deputy handled the call.

1:25 p.m. Lewistown BLM Fire Dispatch reported a possible fire near the Missouri River and were responding to try and locate the fire.

1:50 p.m. Male reported a semi truck/bull accident on Hwy 191 south of Malta; bull was still alive; local MHP Trooper handled the call.

6:35 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance at a Dodson residence for a female causing problems; Deputy responded to the call; female left the scene before Deputy arrival; situation taken care of without further incident.

7:42 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

June 5, 2020

12:07 a.m. Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult male, Joseph Holt, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Aggravated DUI charges.

8:01 a.m. Undersheriff performed building security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo and Nelson Reservoir areas.

9:29 a.m. Female reported vandalism to the train trestle behind her residence; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto BNSF Police.

10:03 p.m. Male reported receiving threats; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of.

10:57 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 6pm tonight until noon Saturday.

11:52 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible fire near a residence; Undersheriff responded to the call; no smoke or fire located in the reported area.

1:46 p.m. Undersheriff reported a disabled trailer parked on Hwy 2, east of Malta; trailer was removed later on.

2:07 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 6pm tonight until noon Saturday.

3:51 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; vehicle was westbound on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto MHP Trooper, Ft Belknap LE and Blaine Co SO; vehicle not located.

4:45 p.m. Deputy reported a male walking along Hwy 2, west of Malta; male was looking for a cell phone that had been thrown out of his vehicle, Deputy assisted in looking for the cell phone.

6:55 p.m. Female filed a complaint regarding damage to her windshield from a gravel truck on Hwy 2; Sheriff and Motor Carrier Services handled the call.

7:39 p.m. Male reported a dog running loose and was going after juveniles in a residential area; ACO handled the call.

8:55 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Nelson Reservoir and Sleeping Buffalo areas.

9:08 p.m. Sheriff checked on individuals in the Cole Ponds area; all found to be okay.

9:30 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Saco area.

9:37 p.m. Female reported a possibly missing juvenile; Sheriff and Deputies responded to the call; juvenile later returned to their residence and was okay.
