June 6, 2020

8:23 a.m. Local Fish & Game Warden reported a grass fire south of Dodson; structures and equipment were threatened; Deputy, Malta FD and Ft Belknap FD responded to the call; Big Flat Electric advised of the situation; fire later controlled and extinguished.

12:56 p.m. Male filed a written complaint regarding a bus being parked by his residence; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and advised to remove the vehicle.

1:21 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving juveniles and possibly a weapon; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto several MT counties to check for this individual and juveniles; individual and juveniles not located.

2:45 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until noon Sunday.

4:39 p.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Loring and Port of Morgan areas.

3:32 p.m. Sheriff and Border Patrol Agents assisted a disabled vehicle on Hwy 191 north; Sheriff and Border Patrol agent gave individuals a ride to Malta.

5:08 p.m. Male reported a fight between two individuals at a local apartment complex; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

7:39 p.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle accident on Old Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputies, local EMT Crew, FD, and MHP Trooper responded to the call; case file started; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

9:02 p.m. Deputy transported one adult female, Carolyn Yeska, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI, Open Container and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance charges.

June 7, 2020

12:55 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Cole Ponds, Nelson Reservoir, Sleeping Buffalo and Saco areas.

1:56 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

3:29 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until noon today.

5:01 p.m. Female reported a family member being harassed by an intoxicated male at a Dodson residence; Deputy responded to the call; male left the residence before Deputy arrival.

5:42 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

June 8, 2020

1:07 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

1:34 a.m. BNSF Police reported a male lying on the ground in the Hwy 2/Industry Road area near the railroad tracks; Deputies responded to the call and checked the area from Stine’s crossing to the Bentonite Road; a second train came through the area and checked as well; male not located.

12:25 p.m. Female reported a domestic situation involving her boyfriend that had happened at a local apartment; Undersheriff responded to the call; female advised she was now on the reservation and away from the male; case file started.

4:03 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a courtesy traffic stop with the Driver’s Education vehicle.

7:17 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

8:03 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Saco area.

8:57 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo, Nelson Reservoir and Cole Ponds areas.

9:12 p.m. Deputies performed a traffic stop which led to one adult male, Cain Wing, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on an MHP-Havre warrant; male later released on bond.

10:08 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

10:24 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

June 9, 2020

10:32 a.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Zortman, Camp Creek and Landusky areas.

11:02 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle speeding from the Port of Morgan and through Loring, headed south, on Hwy 191 north; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle located, driver was upset due to being denied entry into Canada.

11:15 a.m. Female reported a lost wallet.

2:28 p.m. Female requested a law enforcement civil stand by while she retrieves property from a local residence; Deputy handled the call.

2:48 p.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement assistance for an individual who had been shot; Undersheriff responded to the call; individual had been accidentally shot with a .22; case file started.

4:10 p.m. Reserve Deputy performed a courtesy traffic stop with the Driver’s Education vehicle.

5:37 p.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle rollover on the Kid Curry Road; occupant had left the scene and left the vehicle at the location; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

6:23 p.m. Male reported a collapsed culvert on Hwy 2, west of the Route 8 turnoff, causing a hole in the Hwy; MT Dept of Transportation employee advised of the situation.

8:15 p.m. Deputy performed a traffic stop which led to one adult female, Makayla Ramirez, being transported to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Driving While Suspended charges; female later released on bond and given a Notice to Appear in Justice Court.

9:54 p.m. Female reported a missing dog; Deputy located the dog and it was later returned to the owner.

June 10, 2020

1:09 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

10:28 a.m. Female reported a vehicle parked in her parking space and did not know who it belonged to; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and owner advised.

10:46 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

1:21 p.m. Female reported damage to her vehicle at a Dodson residence; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised she did not want to press charges just asked the Deputy to speak to the suspected juveniles.

1:25 p.m. Female reported a vehicle accident in Trafton Park; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

3:53 p.m. Female reported a suspicious male walking down the alley by the caller’s residence; Deputy responded to the call; male not located.

4:58 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly female; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

6:51 p.m. Male reported a Hit & Run to his vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:17 p.m. Deputy received a report of stolen livestock; information passed onto Livestock Inspector.

8:39 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.

11:56 p.m. Female reported a one vehicle accident on Hwy 243, north of Saco; no injuries to the occupant; Deputies and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; case file started.

June 11, 2020

12:22 a.m. Female reported suspicious activity near the Wagner dump; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, individuals were looking for “goodies”.

12:50 a.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Trey Carlson-Shearman, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI charges; male later released on bond.

3:57 a.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/deer accident on Hwy 243 north of Saco; Deputy and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; case file started.

6:02 a.m. Male reported vandalism to his vehicles; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:50 a.m. City employee reported vandalism to property in Trafton Park; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

10:15 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with an individual selling property the caller believed belonged to her; Deputy handled the call.

11:00 a.m. Male reported a vehicle driving well over the speed limit, westbound, on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not speeding.

2:34 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with an on-going report of theft of livestock from his residence; Deputies and Livestock Inspector handled the call.

3:45 p.m. Female reported missing bum calves; information passed onto Livestock Inspector.

4:16 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:09 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Saco area.

9:57 p.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Dodson area.
