Patriotic Music at the Villa

7-4. On Saturday, July 4, Independence Day, the Villa Theatre in Malta will be playing American traditional and patriotic music favorites starting at 11 a.m. from the theater’s outdoor loudspeakers.

Phillips County Library closed

7-3. Phillips County Library will be closed on Friday, July 3 for the holiday.

Special Community Prayer Service

7-5. On Sunday, July 5th at 3 p.m., Elim Lutheran Brethren Church is holding a Special Community Prayer Service united with other church families from our town. This service is a special time of prayer for our country and to remember specifically those who have suffered from injustices, those who are working in law enforcement, our government leaders, and for spiritual awakening in our town, our state, and our country as a whole.

Farmers Market

7-7. The first Malta Chamber Artisan & Farmers Market will be held downtown in Malta’s Veterans Park on Tuesday, July 7 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Malta Kiwanis meeting

7-7. The Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tuesday, July 7 at 6 p.m. at Westside Restaurant. Time to plan for burgers and fries on July 18.

Blood Drive

Used Book Sale

7-17, 18. The Phillips County Library will hold their Used Book Sale on Friday, July 17 from 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Library Basement.
