Montana Veterans Affairs

8-13. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, August 13, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.

American Legion Auxiliary

8-6. The Malta American Legion Auxiliary will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, August 6, at 6 p.m. VFW Club. Dues are due. Members please attend.

Community-wide prayer meeting

8-9. On Sunday August 9, at 3:00 p.m., there is a community-wide prayer meeting being held at Elim Lutheran Brethren Church to pray for our country, our community, and for all the political and social unrest in our society.

Historical Society Meeting

8-10. The Phillips County Historical Society Meeting will be held August 10, 2020, 6:30 p.m. at the Phil-lips County Museum. Everyone welcome!

Girl Scouts Mystery Day Camp

8-29. The Malta Girl Scouts are hosting a Mystery Day Camp at Trafton Park on Saturday, August 29, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., for Phillips County girls grades K-through-5. Pick up registration forms at Malta City Hall or Westside Selfservice and return them by Monday, August 24 by 5 p.m. $5 per child.

Growing a Healthy Future- Soil Health Workshop

8-29 & 30. Growing a Healthy Future- Soil Health Workshop with Nicole Masters will be held on August 29 & 30th at the Tin Cup Bar and Grill from 9-to-5 p.m. Contact Patti Armbrister for more information 648-7400.

Saco School Open House

8-17. The Saco School will be holding an Open House on Monday, August 17th at 6 p.m. for all staff, parents, students, and interested community members. The back to school plan for the 2020-2021 school year will be discussed. All parents are STRONGLY encouraged to attend this meeting. Please call the school at 527-3531 if you have any questions.
