Phillips County Sheriff's Report for Wednesday, September 2, 2020

August 18 through portion of August 23, 2020.

Please be advised: If you are planning on using Trafton Park shelters for an event in the future, please contact the Malta City Office, 654-1251, to reserve the shelters, get the key and pay for the electricity. The Phillips Co Sheriff’s Office will no longer be handling this. Thank you.

As of August 7, 2020, all fingerprints and photographs for concealed weapon permits or other reasons will only be done on Wednesdays, from 0900 hours to noon. This policy change will be in effect until the active COVID-19 cases in Phillips County drop to near zero. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2020 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2020, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2020 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2019 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2019. Call PCSO, 406-654-2350, to let Dispatch know of your controlled burn before you start, as a courtesy. Thank you!
