The Malta Mustangs football team started practicing on Monday, August 17, and have been working hard ever since, appreciating the chance to be on the field despite the constant threat of the COVID-19 virus.
"It has has been a good feeling getting back to a little bit of normalcy with football practice and school starting back up," Malta Head Coach Nick Oxarart said. "It has been hot, but practices have been going well and it is great to be around the student-athletes again."
The Mustangs welcome back athletes with plenty of experience but with the virus shutting down camps around the state...
