Dodson News for October 14, 2020

The dreaded Covid 19 is still staying around and active. Hope it will run its course pretty soon and we can get some more normal living again. More cases are being reported every day. We are sorry for those that have tested positive and hope their cases are not too severe.

Ava Welch was up working on her yard and house. She helped Dora pick up leaves at her house.

We, in our family, were saddened to hear M.G."Shorty" Henry of Augusta had passed away this week. He is the last sibling of the 14 children of Miles and Rhuh Mae Henry and was just next younger than my husband, James Elmer. He served in the Marines, was a true 'old-time' cowboy, and was well known and liked by many. His colorful present will be missed by all who knew him.

The weather has taken a turn for a little colder and we had a very, very small spurt of rain. At least a few drops fell. The wind continues to blow, though.

Happy Birthday to all having a birthday this week and congratulations to Wink and Terri Cole on their anniversary. Have a good one!
