Phillips County Sheriff's Report for Wednesday, October 21, 2020

Concealed Weapon Permits:

New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.

FINGERPRINTS can be done at the Sheriff’s Office on WEDNESDAYs only, from 9am-noon, unless other arrangements have been made with the Sheriff’s Office.

October 2, 2020

12:30 a.m. Blaine Co SO requested PCSO assistance with a report from BNSF of a body near the railroad tracks; Deputies responded to the call; no person or body located along the railroad tracks west of Dodson.

9:37 a.m. 911 received reporting a two-vehicle fender/bender in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

11:23 a.m. Male reported another male trespassing and doing dirt work on a dam in south Phillips County; Deputy responded to the call; work documented as this is an on-going civil issue in court.

3:28 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

7:02 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having seizures at a Dodson residence; caller needed to go to Ft Belknap ER; local EMT Crew responded to the call and transported the patient to meet the Ft Belknap Ambulance at the county line; call later canceled as the patient refused medical attention.

10:21 p.m. Female reported another female trespassing in her yard; caller advised it has happened for two nights in a row; Deputy responded to the call; second female was looking up at the stars and didn’t realize where she was. Case file started and forwarded to County Attorney for review.

October 3, 2020

12:48 a.m. Deputy performed building security checks in the Malta area.

2:24 a.m. Sheriff performed building security checks in the Malta area.

12:21 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:26 p.m. Male reported that a family member had passed away at their residence; Deputy responded to the call; coroner case file started.

9:59 p.m. Male reported a vehicle with its hazards on, traveling on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

10:15 p.m. Female reported her neighbor was abusing his dogs; ACO handled the call.

October 4, 2020

12:28 p.m. Ft Belknap LE requested PCSO assistance with locating a female who may be going through Phillips Co; Undersheriff responded to the call; individual and vehicle not located.

1:04 p.m. BLM Ranger performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 191 south; all found to be okay, waiting for a spare tire to arrive.

2:14 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 11am-6pm Monday.

5:57 p.m. Male reported finding drug paraphernalia in Trafton Park; Deputy responded to the call and removed the paraphernalia.

8:16 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11am-6pm Monday.

October 5, 2020

2:49 a.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11am-6pm today.

7:38 a.m. Female requested an ambulance for an individual with a hurt knee; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

8:55 a.m. Female reported a vehicle almost caused an accident on Hwy 2, in Malta; Undersheriff responded to the call; vehicle not located.

9:07 a.m. Juvenile reported a situation involving another juvenile that occurred over the weekend; Sheriff handled the call.

9:41 a.m. Male reported cows without water and had been coming across into the caller’s pasture to get food and water; Undersheriff responded to the call; information passed onto Livestock Inspector.

10:30 a.m. Female reported damage to a family members residence and missing property; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

1:39 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11am-6pm today.

5:52 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:43 p.m. Female reported profanity written in the dust on her vehicle; Deputy handled the call.

7:16 p.m. Male reported a vehicle/deer accident on 191 south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:51 p.m. Deputy requested a tow truck for the vehicle involved in the deer accident; local towing company handled the call.

8:57 p.m. Female reported a cat had been hit in the Underpass; ACO handled the call.

9:47pm Male reported someone driving by his residence throwing firecrackers out the vehicle window, headed south of Dodson; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

October 6, 2020

7:39 a.m. Male reported a dead deer on Hwy 191 south; MT Dept of Transportation handled the call.

10:15 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who fell and was sick; local EMT Crew handled the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

2:08 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle/pedestrian accident on 7 Mile Road; Deputy, Reserve Deputy, local EMT Crew and local MHP Trooper responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital; case file started.

3:37 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:36 p.m. Male reported a female falling down and refusing assistance in the downtown area; Deputy responded to the call; female and a friend later walked to the female’s residence.

5:50 p.m. Deputy, Reserve Deputy, EMTs and FD reported to Trafton Park for the National Night Out festivities.

7:01 p.m. A delivery truck driver filed a written complaint regarding being threatened by a male while dropping off a package at his residence; Deputy responded to the call; situation taken care of without further incident.

7:37 p.m. Female reported a light on at a City lift station; information passed onto City employee.

8:58 p.m. Male reported another male walking on Hwy 2, east of Malta; Deputies responded to the call; male was picked up by the suspicious vehicle in the next call.

8:59 p.m. Male reported a suspicious vehicle parked in his approach and wanted it removed; Deputies responded to the call; driver claimed “to have had lost a headlight and was fixing it”; male advised to move along from the area.

October 7, 2020

12:36 a.m. Bartender reported suspicious males outside of a local tavern and requested a Deputy to stop by; Deputy handled the cal.

11:53 a.m. Anonymous reported an individual trying to direct traffic in the construction zone by 191/Short Oil and almost caused an accident with the construction equipment; Deputy responded to the call; suspect vehicle was not in the area.

2:05 p.m. Dodson School employee requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from an individual; Deputy handled the call.

3:19 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a bus parked in her neighborhood; Deputy handled the call.

4:35 p.m. Local MHP Troopers requested PCSO assistance for occupants of a disabled vehicle east of Malta; Deputy handled the call.

4:35 p.m. Male reported an injured deer on Hwy 191 south, near the Alkali Creek bridge; Deputy responded to the call; deer not located.

6:13 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

6:46 p.m. Female reported a light on at a City lift station; information passed onto City employee.

8:50 p.m. Female reported a male walking in the middle of Hwy 191 south with a flashlight; second call received reporting the same male; Deputies responded to the call; 911 received from the male walking on the Hwy and he advised he was a lost hunter and could not find his vehicle that was parked along Hwy 191; Deputies located the male and the vehicle and returned the male to his vehicle.

9:38 p.m. Anonymous reported juveniles at the Dodson Dump and stated they were drinking; Deputies responded to the call; no one located in the reported area.

October 8, 2020

1:14 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female having a possible allergic reaction; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.
