COVID Update for the week of November 11

As of November 10, there are 31 active cases in Phillips County with 178 residents considered recovered, for a total of 213 total cases. One person is currently hospitalized, out of 13 hospitalizations overall. We have lost four Phillips County residents to this virus.

The staff and residents of the Hi-Line Retirement Center continue to battle the virus. One unit is currently dedicated to COVID positive residents, and the staff is working tirelessly to the best care available while being mindful of their own health. Statewide, 819 new cases were reported as of Monday, November 9th, with 6,184 cases reported in the previous seven days. Montana has 40,118 total cases. To date, 23,793 Montanans have recovered from the virus, with 40,053 being diagnosed overall. Currently, 470 Montanans are hospitalized, and 463 Montanans have perished from the disease.

Nationwide, 10.2 million cases have been reported since January 21, 2020, which includes 105,142 new cases as of Tuesday morning, November 10, 2020. The CDC reported 745 deaths on Tuesday, for a total of 239 thousand lives lost since the beginning of the pandemic.

Please continue to mindful of your own health and the health of those around you. Please wash your hands, practice social distancing, wear a mask while in public spaces, and stay home when you are sick.
