Phillips County News - One Nation, Under God

One thing that I had the chance to do a week ago, was to see a crew taking down a grain elevator along US Highway 2.

They took it down because it was falling down and unsafe.

I brought some pictures down to the Phillips County News the other day.

The pictures were of the school buildings that burned down in the Christmas Eve fire of 1995.

I was nine-years-old when the old Malta Junior High and High School buildings burned down.

I remember Tom Miller (Former Phillips County Sheriff) guarding this line that said, "Sheriff's Line - Do Not Cross."
