One Nation, Under God

Our country should be better than this

Dear Editor,

Honestly, I don’t know how to start this. This was shocking, to see a sitting president incite a mob to attack the Capitol Building of the United States of America. To hear the House Minority leader FAIL to condemn this action and those who brought it about (including himself). Is this what the Republican party now stands for, mob rule?

I hear these mealy mouthed legislators whine and cry that their constituents have concerns and questions about the election. Those questions have been answered, in over 50 court cases those questions have been answered and the answer is, THERE WAS NO WIDESPREAD ELECTION FRAUD! As for their concerns, the only reason they have those concerns is because the president, those selfsame legislators, and so called “conservative” hacks in the media keep telling them to have those concerns.

I read news from many sources both liberal and conservative, this is the only way to get a balanced perspective. If you get all your news from one source, you’re self-blinded, you’ve made yourself a mindless puppet who only knows one point of view. If these people would have actually read or listened to more than one viewpoint, they would have known there was no fraud, no widespread illegal voting, no ghost of Cesar Chavez changing votes inside a machine. The court cases are public records, Trump went 1-59 in court, and the ONE case he won had nothing to do with voter fraud or vote tampering, merely a small change in procedure. These cases went before both Republican and Democratic judges and were found to be meritless. What more needs to be said, Trump lost and he lost “bigly”. And if you are such a snowflake that you can’t deal with the truth, you need to look in the mirror and honestly evaluate yourself.

The United States of America is better than this, and it’s time we all started acting like we deserve that title.
