PCH Announces New Medical Provider

Phillips County Hospital (PCH) and Family Health Clinic has announced that Sterling Beck, RN, has signed a "letter of intent" to join the care team at PCH later this year. Mr. Beck is currently enrolled at Purdue University, Indiana, in the Nurse Practitioner (NP) program. He anticipates completing the education, training, and licensure for NP in July 2021. He has extensive experience as a registered nurse in the areas of emergency, trauma, and air transport.

"We are very excited to have Sterling and his family joining the PCH Family and relocating to the community. Having a full-time provider who understands rural community health care needs is exciting," stated Dr. Edwin Medina, Chief of Staff

Mr. Beck has an interest and focus on family medicine in a rural setting. "As a part of my training, I spent time in Malta at PCH and believe it will be the perfect combination; joining a highly respected group of medical providers while establishing a new practice. I am passionate about providing care for patients across their lifespan, improving patient outcomes through preventative care, and providing the highest quality of care possible."

Mr. Beck grew up in Eastern Montana, is married to Amy, and they have 3 children- Kira (16), Malin (14), and Jaxon (9).
