One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for February 10, 2021

If we thought it was cold before, we were in for a big surprise. It is cold----all over Montana and it's February!!! Our thoughts should be looking forward to sunshine and warmer temps, at least in the daytime. Ranchers are looking at newborn's and this is no weather for them. Hopefully after this week we will see brighter days. This 20 to 40 degrees below is not good for old bones! And still below zero in the daytime !

Remember, this next Sunday is Valentine's Day---remember your sweetie!

The Covid problem goes on. So many places are so restricted and closed half the time---and there are still new cases reported. I only hope that it does not cause too many smaller businesses to go out of business. We like the friendly and convenient places we have had to do business with---we need them for the generations coming up.

After defeating the North Country Mavericks last week, the Dodson Coyotes boys basketball team played the Scobey team, which, along with Dodson, had not had a loss this season, losing this game, suffering their first loss of the season. The Dodson team is making up games that were postponed due to the Covid outbreak. Keep playing boys----we're cheering for you.

Get well wishes are sent to all not feeling well or having problems with the Covid situation.

Birthday greetings to Jerry Lankford and all others celebrating a birthday or anniversary of any kind. Be thankful for loved ones around you.

One of the worst things about getting old is having to listen to a lot of advice from one's children. God love 'em.

Keep hoping for the sunshine and have a wonderful week.
