Mustang Foundation announces new scholarships

It is with great pleasure that the Mustang Foundation will be the recipient of four scholarships from the Late Dr. Michael Veseth and Rosemary Veseth.

These scholarships will be worth $1,000.00 each and will be awarded each year over the next five years. These scholarships are available to anyone who applies in the county. The applications will be available at the schools in Phillips County or on the Malta High School website under the Mustang Foundation. The scholarship will be awarded to students that are getting their education in Montana (must go to school in Montana). These scholarships are available to high school students and students that are currently at a Montana School, with preference given to high school students.

These scholarships include: 1. Medical, which can include, but not limited to: dentist, nurse, doctor, vet, radiology tech, and lab tech. 2. Teaching and counseling, which will include anything to do with teaching and counseling. 3. Trades which can include, but not limited to: plumbing, welding , hairdresser, barber, and electrician. 4. Agriculture, which can include, but not limited to: ag education, extension agent, ag business, and mechanic.
