Phillips County Sheriff's Report for Wednesday, March 3, 2021

February 1, 2021 through a portion of February 11, 2021.

FYI:

If you are planning on using Trafton Park shelters for an event in the future, please contact the Malta City Office, 654-1251, to reserve the shelters, get the key and pay for the electricity. The Phillips Co Sheriff’s Office will no longer be handling this. Thank you.

Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2021 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2021, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2021 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2020 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2020. Call PCSO, 406-654-2350, to let Dispatch know of your controlled burn before you start, as a courtesy. Thank you!

If you are calling a cell phone number from Montana, local or long distance, and cannot get through, try using 406. Companies are starting to require the 406 on cell phones to make calls.

Concealed Weapon Permits:

New and renewal applications for Concealed Weapon Permits may be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office anytime. Once approved, you will be contacted to come in on Wednesday between 9 AM and noon for fingerprints and photographs.
