Nemont Co-op to Drop TV; Eagle Satellite is Ready to Help

As of June 1, 2021, Nemont will be discontinuing TV service and Eagle Satellite, a Montana satellite TV retailer that has been in business for over 40 years, are at the ready to help those customers that will need to find another TV service such as Dish or DirecTV if they wish to continue receiving normal cable channels. As for local channels, customers will need an antenna (if they can get a signal) or Dish Network. DirecTV offers local channels in some areas, but not all. It depends mostly on address.

Smaller co-ops like Nemont, are having to drop TV service due to the prices for programming have increased tremendously. Especially local channels. Because the co-ops are relatively small, they lack the leverage needed to keep the prices down.

Eagle Satellite sells Dish and DirecTV and can install and service local antennas. Eagle Satellite has offices in Missoula, Billings, Great Falls and also provides service to customers in Glendive. They have worked with several co-ops including Three Rivers and Mid Rivers, helping their customers with the transition from the co-op to another provider.

If the Nemont customers want to work with a local Montana company, Eagle Satellite would be happy to help them find the best solution to fit their needs. They can be reached at 406-728-9999 or 800-333-2474. Their website is http://www.dumpcable.com and email is [email protected].
