One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 21, 2021

We've had a few days of spring snow which was very welcome since we are very dry up here. I've spotted some mourning doves, killdeer, and juncos. I'm sure the warblers and finches will be coming in May.

I went over to Whitewater on Friday to visit with Connie Blake and meet her son Barrett before they were headed back to Tennessee. I stopped to see Bonnie McMullen and wish her a happy birthday. Then stopped at Lu Besel’s for lunch before going in to the museum to work on the inventory.

Lu Besel and I attended the monthly meeting of the GPDM board on Monday. And Lu actually attended the Phillips County Museum’s meeting also.

Bible study was held at the home of Dixie Stordahl on Wednesday. And the northern lights were visible Thursday night! I was stoked to see them!

The North Country prom was held at Genevieve Hall on Saturday! Some of the grandparents made the trek over for the grand March. The hall looked great and it seems that the kids had a wonderful time!

Brenda Clark drove the track bus on Saturday to the junior high meet. Mylee reported that she took first in the shot put! Congrats!

Be kind to each other!
