One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for May 12, 2021

We have been having cold and warm----Rain and a little wet snow and of course --wind. The needed moisture that it has all brought is making a difference and things are starting to green up. If it warms up this week like they are forecasting the trees should start leafing out. Lilacs are leafing out and budding and my plum trees are trying to bloom

The harsh winds blew some shingles off my outbuildings so I need to find someone who is not too busy to get them reshingled. Seems there are a lot of other people in the same spot so there will be a lot of roof work done. In every town, you go to there are patches put on to keep the roofs from leaking.

Polly Solberg was in Malta a couple of days this week. Our prayers are still with her son, Tim, who is home again. We wish him a speedy recovery. We were in Havre again this week, going up in the rain on Wednesday. It was quite a mess but the workers kept working thru it and the sun did shine in the afternoon. We welcome all the little showers that give us some moisture tho, we need it. While in Havre we stopped in to visit with former resident Betty Munson.

It was nice to see Ron Scott and Debbie Black cruising around looking at the old Homegrounds. Had a nice short visit with Debbie and express my condolences for her parents whom she lost so close together so recently. She is looking well and happy.

Birthday greetings are sent to Kari Kienenberger and Helen Wiederrick and all others having a birthday this week. Anniversary congratulations to all celebrating an anniversary.

A hole in the bottom of a bird's nest usually means she enjoys laying eggs but is not very fond of children.

Have a good week and enjoy it all----rain or sunshine. We know it will change very soon. Smile,--it looks good on you.
