One Nation, Under God

Loring News for May 20, 2021

Mother Nature surprised us up here in Loring with about 4 inches of good wet snow! I'm just estimating the depth, but it sure seemed thick on the car. The hills are starting to green up so we are happy! I'm still on the lookout for the goldfinches, yellow warblers, and Orioles! I see a couple of young hawks in some of the nests and I'm praying that they make it to adulthood!

Carol Lumsden and I traveled to Havre to get my new lenses for my glasses on Thursday! We saw some old friends while we were there, Barb and Ben Math!

JoAnne Saffie, a 1975 graduate of MHS, visited with me at the GPDM on Friday!

She has a fascination with dinosaurs!

Janet Johnston spent Mothers Day with her daughter and son-in-law at the Port of Morgan!

Dixie Stordahl was a guest also!

Jeannie Schroeder, Saige, and Zoey Stordahl were up from Billings visiting Rod and also spent some time with Dixie, painting, baking, reading, and cleaning! Zoey lost her first tooth so the tooth fairy had to find her!

Not much time now before school is out for the summer. Beau Simonson and Kia Wasson are graduating and on to other places when school is out!

I know some people planned to camp at the Missouri River this weekend. I haven't seen them yet so I hope they are able to get out!

Have a great week!
