PCMS Track sees first action of 2021

Phillips County Motorsports held its track clean-up and test and tune on Saturday and Sunday, May 15-16.

The track clean-up was held on Saturday, May 15. The grass was mowed, all areas cleaned up and the track was prepped for the season of racing.

Retired track manager, and current "water truck driver", John Carnahan said, "We had a really good turn out to help clean up. The way this works is, if they show up and help clean, they get 50% off of the test and tune prices on the next day."

Carnahan said, "Today, (Sunday) there's about 16-20 cars running. They've got a really good day for it."

The first points race of the season will be the weekend of the Malta Car Show, June 5 and 6.

Saturday, June 5, being a test and tune day, with the points races on Sunday, June 6.
