One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, June 2, 2021

We have had some beautiful days and warm days this week. Sunday afternoon showed a hot, 82 degrees, on my thermometer at a little afternoon. And very little wind.

Dora's daughter Teri Leys, of Choteau, Teri's grandson Roper James and Asher and Aurora, in Teri's care, visited at the Henry home for the Memorial Day weekend. On Sunday they decorated graves in Malta of close relatives. The Malta cemetery looked so nice and all the flowers were so colorful. There are sure a lot of flags any more honoring those that have served and protected our country. Thanks to whoever has put out all the new flags to be placed on veterans graves, probably the American Legion. Thanks to all who work to get the cemeteries ready for Memorial Day.

Dolores Shettel visited Teri Leys and Dora Henry on Friday.

The Wilke family held a family reunion this weekend.

The parking lot at Albertson's looks good with their resurfacing job.

Congratulations and greetings to all having a birthday or an anniversary this week.

Congratulations to all the seniors of Dodson and the other schools in the county for their hard work and graduating these last two weeks, on to bigger and better things. May they be successful in whatever they choose to do with their futures, work or college or one of the services to their country.

There is so much bad in the best of us and so much good in the worst of us----that it hardly behooves any of us to talk about the rest of us.

Have a good and hopefully warm week.
