One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, June 9, 2021

Got through graduation, track, and cross country. After a short recess delay, summer school will be starting up and studies begin again. Good to keep busy.

The weather has been hot in the afternoon, even up over ninety on a couple of days but it still gets cold in the night, and of course, the wind blows almost every day. Sunday it blew hard all day.

Polly Solberg returned home from visiting Billings. She said she had the chance to visit with Sarah Solberg Ostlund while there.

Zack Cole and his wife are visiting with Wink and Terri Cole, and will be making a change of bases from New York to Seattle, Washington when his furlough is over. To say the least, they have enjoyed many temperature changes, from hot in Louisiana, to cold in New York, to wet in Seattle. Enjoy it all kids, it’s nice you have the opportunity to see different places while you are young.

Thanks to two angels in disguise ( Ava and Velyma) who finished mowing my yard after we disabled our mower.

I was pleased this week when great-granddaughter Megan King and her husband Phil visited from Wichita, Kansas so I could see my one great, great-granddaughter, Marlie, who has just turned one year old. We also buried my daughter Shirley Winn's. (Megan’s grandmother) ashes in our plot in Malta at this time. Linda Vulk, another daughter, came from Helena with the King's.

Lots of young kids racing around in small vehicles and on four-wheelers with several on or in the vehicles. Just hope no one gets hurt. I thought there were state regulations on ages of drivers on streets. Things are changing

Birthday greetings to all having a birthday now, including Dolores Shettel, and Issac Williamson. Hope it's a good one. Anniversary greetings to all celebrating one !!!

What's in a word? Consider the difference between a wise guy and a wise man.
