One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, June 9, 2021

We've had a couple of really nice days, a couple of hot days and a couple of windy days! We had a sprinkling of rain and lightning. More rain, less heat is what I'm praying for!

My flycatchers are back in their new nest under the roof of the deck! I haven't looked to see how many eggs yet. I can do it without causing the parents alarm by using one of those gadgets with a telescoping wand and a small mirror on the end! I'll report back on the progress. I hope they make it this year!

Cindy Clark and I went to the Montana Synod meeting with the Malta delegates with a remote convention in Malta. It was interesting, especially since there was no meeting last year.

Sue Frary, Lu Besel, Jane Ereaux and I had dinner in Malta on Saturday! It was a celebration of a busy week of reconstruction and painting at the Great Plains Dinosaur Museum! We want to be ready to welcome our life size Triceratops into our museum!

Carol Lumsden and Whitney Blunt went to Billings over the weekend to spend time with Jonnae Slade and Family! Happy birthday to Jonnae and Carmen Norville!

Mark your calendars for the annual picnic at the Loring Park June 16 at 6.

Have a great week! Be kind! You just never know who will remember it and pay it forward!
