REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS

FOR ON-CALL ENGINEERING SERVICES

. The Town of Saco is soliciting proposals to hire a firm to provide general engineering and/or grant writing and grant administration services. Selected firm(s) to serve as an on-call engineer for professional engineering and/or grant writing and grant administration for 5-years for related activities associated with but not limited to streets, trails, water, wastewater, stormwater, water resources & watershed studies, solid waste, site development, environmental reviews, and other miscellaneous public works projects. Desired services may include planning, preliminary engineering, design, surveying, construction administration and inspection work. The agreement and payment terms will be negotiated with the selected offeror.

Consistent with Section 3 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1968, CDBG regulations governing the grant require that to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG-assisted project will be extended to local lower-income residents. Further, to the greatest extent, feasible, business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area will be utilized.

Disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE's) are encouraged to apply.

Copies of the detailed Request for Qualifications (RFQ), including a description of the services to be provided by respondents, the minimum content of responses, and the factors to be used to evaluate the responses, can be obtained by contacting the Town of Saco, at (406) 527-3312 or (406)-527-9800 or [email protected].

The Town of Saco will receive responses to this RFP at 110 Nelson St. Saco MT 59261 until 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2021. The Town of Saco and its agents reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and waive any formality and technicality. (Published by Phillips County News 6/23, 6/30/2021)

4. Activities: Held at Seniors citizens Building

Home Delivered Meals are recommended for home bound and/or any medical conditions that would require to be home, this also would include the main care giver of that required person. Meals are available 5 days a week, Monday - Friday, no Holidays.

Congregate Meals are to provide a healthy nutritional meal and encourage folks to get out and socialize.

Home Maker includes service for all of Phillips County. This is a program that does light housekeeping, meal prep, errands such as grocery shopping, mail. (Remember, we are not a personal care giver.)

Activities are usually held at the Senior Citizen Building.

Monday - Bridge, 6 p.m.

Tuesday - Whist and Pinochle, 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday - Bridge, 1:30 p.m.

Thursday - Pinochle, 1:30 p.m.

Remember, if it is difficult to get to any of these services in the town of Malta, the Phillips County Transit Bus is available Monday - Friday (654-5301).

NOTICE OF PENDING ATTACHMENT OF A

TAX LIEN MCA 15-17-122

On Monday, August 2, 2021, The Phillips County Treasurer will attach a property tax lien to property on which the 2020 taxes are delinquent. The delinquent taxes, including penalties, interest, and costs are a lien upon the property, and that unless delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and costs are paid prior to July 30, 2021, a tax lien will be attached and may be assigned to a third party.

A complete delinquent list of all persons and property in the county now owing taxes, including all city and town property that is delinquent is on file in the office of the Phillips County Treasurer and is open to public inspection and examination.
