One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, June 23, 2021

The weather is still changing all the time and keeping us wondering 'what's next?.' It goes from very hot with wind to really quite chilly-with wind. The few days we have had hot have really been hot for June, some have broken records for this time of June.

Polly Solberg attended the funeral for Darlene Fauth Boothe in Malta.

Terri Cole has had several kids home visiting and helping out, including Zack and Sarah, Matt and Heidi, Melinda, Shannon, and Steve. It was good to visit Melinda as she helped her mom deliver lunches from the center. I'm sure so many coming home made a happy Father's Day for Wink. ( Sorry if I missed any that were home)

Hope all the fathers around had a Happy Fathers Day with family. Belated wishes to all of them, enjoy the little ones while you can.

Steve and Judy Henry drove up to visit Mom Dora for the day. They enjoyed a Father's Day dinner out in Malta.

The hills are staying pretty green, even with the weather not cooperating. Maybe we will get enough moisture so they stay that way for a while.

Dora Henry had some reshingling done to repair after some of the winds we had earlier.. took shingles off.

Skirting has been taken off some of the school trailers---making ready for the new ones to be put in. Be all ready for the new teachers coming in. ( and the old ones coming back)

Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Havre on Monday to see the optometrist.

Bruce and Leona Kienenberger and John and Patti Wilke are among those celebrating anniversaries this week so we extend best wishes to them and all others having anniversaries or birthdays. May they be extra good ones.

Nowadays the only time people seem to spend on their knees is when looking for a contact lens.

Have a good week and enjoy that we haven't been eaten by too many mosquitos.
