2021 Dean's List honors from colleges around the state

The following is a list of students that have be named to Dean's Lists from around the state submitted to or found by the Phillips County News. If any name was missed please send info to Pierre a [email protected].

The University of Montana - Missoula

The University of Montana had four Malta graduates on their list. Blake Sjostrom, who had a 4.0 GPA was named to the President's List. Travis Epperson, Mariah Salveson, and Grayson Waters were named to the Dean's List with a GPA greater than 3.5 but less than 4.0.

The University of Montana - Northern

The University of Montana Northern in Havre had one student from Malta listed, Keith R. Epperson. Saco was represented, as Brady A. Albus and Jada Sudbrack were named to the Dean's List. To be included in the Dean’s List students must carry a minimum of 12 credits and earn a grade point average of 3.25 or better.

Montana State University -Billings

Former Malta High School Students Tyler Arnold and William Lulloff were named to the Montana State University Billings Dean's List.

Saco's Christopher DePuydt was named to the school's Presidential List and Karly Lacock, also of Saco, was named to the Dean's List.

Dodson's Lyle Stiffarm was named to the Dean's List.

In recognition of scholastic achievement, the university makes public at the close of each semester an honor roll of undergraduate students who earn 12 or more credits which are not of a Pass/No Pass nature and who earn a grade point average of 3.50 or better.

Miles Community College

Miles Community College had two honor rolls students from Malta, Kelbee Denham, who had a 4.0 GPA and Crystal Anderson who was in the 3.99-3.75. Students who are taking 12 or more credits and maintain a term grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher are eligible for this scholastic recognition.

Montana State University - Bozeman

Former Dodson High School student Wozek Chandler was named to the Presidential List for having a perfect 4.0 GPA. Malta's Kari Koss, Devon Salveson (Saco High School graduate), and Reese Sjostrom were named to the Dean's List.

The 1,487 students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average for the semester were named to the President's List. The Dean's List includes the 3,455 students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester.

Montana Technical University

Former Malta High students Konner Kuehn and Grant O'Brien were named to the Montana Tech Honors list. Keuhn was also named to the Dean's List.

Those earning a 3.5 GPA will receive recognition for being listed on the Dean’s List. A full‐time undergraduate student (enrolling in and completing a minimum of 12 credits) who earns a 3.25 GPA during the semester is listed on the semester Honor Roll.

University of Montana Western

Former Malta High student Jacob Kunze was named to the University of Montana Western's Dean's list. To achieve this honor, students must be enrolled full-time or for 12 semester credits and carry a minimum 3.33 grade point average.

Carroll College

Former Malta student Taylor Eggebrecht made the Dean's List at Carroll College. To be included on the dean’s list, a student must receive a 3.5 grade point average or higher on a 4.0 scale and take at least 12 graded credits in a semester.
