One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, July 7, 2021

Bill and Dora Henry attended the funeral for Mrs. Aggie (Bill) Leys at Choteau on Wednesday of this week. It was terribly hot but she had a lovely funeral. On Thursday they attended a farewell BBQ for the pastor of Bill's church who is leaving in two weeks.

It was sad to hear that long-time resident and well-known family man, "Wink" Cole had passed away with family by his side. His large family is gathering, and the entire community sends its love, prayers, sympathy, and condolences to Terri and the entire family. May God be with them and sustain them at this sad time.

Roger and Jackie Henry, a niece, her friend, and two Pugs have been visiting Dora Henry this week. The girls had never seen Montana before. They visited Mount Rushmore and other places on the way and thought they were all splendid. They are both sixteen.

One of Dodson's free dogs was sadly hit by a car on the highway and killed. It has lain there for several days and should be picked up by one of the townspeople, if not the owner, and disposed of in this hot weather.

Congratulations and best wishes to all having a birthday or anniversary this week. Have a very special one.

Old people know more about being young than young people know about being old.

Enjoy your week, but take care of yourself in the extreme heat.
