It finally rained on the evening of Tuesday, July 13; Just an easy fine rain. It was very hot Wednesday, July 14, 93 degrees. Cooled down Wednesday night, Thursday 103 degrees, Friday 102 degrees with no more rain. Saturday it was 93 degrees and Sunday, an even 100, Dry with no more rain.

Grasshoppers are getting frisky again so I guess spraying time is here again too.

Between the grasshoppers, the drought, no rain, and the extended extreme temperatures one wonders if God may be testing us for some reason?

Terri Cole went to Billings to stay with Matt and Heidi for a couple of days, then to a daughter’s for a day and on to Denton for a couple of days to stay and to attend a baby shower for a grandson and his wife who is expecting.

Get well wishes are sent to Billie Matthews. Take care, take it easy and get better soon. Our prayers are with you.

Kari Hould and Polly Solberg went to a Music Ranch Montana concert at Livingston featuring Jimmy Fortune. They reported it was very good.

The Solberg family gathered at the GN in a family gathering that included Anne Marie Boucher from Billings, Evelyn (Evie) Hammer from Burien, Wa., Tim and Vivian Bruckner of Malta, Art and Sue Solberg of Malta, Marvin and Sharon Solberg of Edgewater, MD, Ralph and Shari Solberg of Billings, Roger and Shari, Emma & Erin Solberg of Malta. Polly Solberg of Dodson, and Orvin and Thea Solberg of Malta.

Best wishes and congratulations to all having a birthday or anniversary this week.
