One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, July 21, 2021

“Happy Birthday” to July B-days, including my daughters Teresa and Gale.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reichelt (former Whitewater residents), on the arrival of their baby girl named, Shyla, who was born in Africa. Kenny was there to welcome the baby but returned to the U.S. Mother and baby will come home, as soon as the covid virus makes safe travel, and immigration laws will allow their entry into the United States. Good luck with that.

Congratulations to KMMR radio on their years of broadcasting. I won a travel mug from them. Thanks for the mug.

Hector Murdock (of U. S.) was on leave from the army and was in Whitewater and Loring to visit his wife Danielle and 3 foster children. They all came to visit grandma Pat Murdock.

Late congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Donich on being married for 60 years! Pat Ivanovitch is Sally Austin’s sister. She was raised and got married in Whitewater.

RAIN!! It came in down sheets but ended just as soon. It settled the dust and refreshed the air anyway.

Reminder to Whitewater, North 40 has a library with oceans of books and videos. Help yourself!

Note: Senior Meals are served Wednesday at noon, $5.00 a plate. All seniors are welcome.

Fort Peck summer theatre is opened for 2021 season. You can call the Fort Peck office for tickets and information. I love the theatre!

There will be a blood drawing at Whitewater School on Wednesday, July 21. Call Beau Simonson for information. This is a 4-H Project!

P.C. fair is fast approaching. Fair entry guides were in the mail. This is a busy time for 4-hers and clubs. Good Luck to all!

Summer goes so fast, doesn’t it? Enjoy outdoors as much as possible.

Stay cool, Take Care
