One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, August 11, 2021

It has been staying very hot with no rain. Some rain has been forecast but has not showed up except for one small shower we had earlier.

The 106th fair has come and gone. The 4H sale went well and price was pretty good for the kids. The events were enjoyed and people enjoyed visiting others they had not seen for some time.

Speaking of which, Polly and I visited with the former Linda Kienenberger (Wolery) formally of Dodson whom I had not seen in (as she remembered it) eleven years. So nice to see her again.

The community sends condolences to Al Minugh and the Minugh family on the death of Molly Minugh.

Velyma Broadhead went to meet and visit one of her daughters in Butte for a few days.

Tim and Heidi Solberg and the family of Billings were here to take in some of the P.C. Fair and visit with Polly Solberg.

Terri Cole had family visiting over the weekend and checking on her.

Greetings and congratulations to all having a birthday or anniversary this week. Hope it is a happy one with many more.

Ask God's blessings on your work, but don't ask Him to do it for you. The most important things in the world, aren't things.

Take care, enjoy the heat ---we may be asking for some in the not too distant future----remember school is starting in just a few weeks. Kids will be around so drive carefully.

Have a good week.
