Dodson FFA attends the Montana FFA Ag Expo in Bozeman

The Dodson FFA Chapter traveled to Bozeman November 10-13 for the Montana FFA Ag Expo Sponsored by John Deere Dealers. Representing Dodson were Sebastian Best, Kataya KillEagle, Imagin Fox, Jeremiah Henry, Mason LoneBear, and Junior Stiffarm. The chapter competed in Livestock Judging, Meats Judging, Vet Science, and Ag Mechanics career development events. Highlights from the contests include the junior mechanics team of Jeremiah, Mason, and Junior placing 30th as a team out of 50 total teams. The senior meats team of Imagin, Kataya, and Sebastian placed 19th out of 32 teams. Individually, Sebastian placed 42nd (out of 135) in the meats contest. Jeremiah placed 57th out of 300 competitors in the junior livestock judging contest.

The three-day event was attended by 1,400 FFA members from over 70 FFA chapters. In addition to the contests, Dodson students toured the Museum of the Rockies, attended the MSU-Bobcat football game, and rooted on the M-ettes at the State Volleyball Tournament.
