In honor of Veterans Day last Thursday I would like to mention the seven children of Miles and Mae Henry who served in the second World War and Korea, 3 soldiers and 4 marines. Ray-Army, Jack-Marine, who was a tail gunner in the pacific, Jessie, the female Marine, and Jack's twin, Wally-Army-Burma, James, Marine-Iwo Jima survivor--Shorty, Marine and Pat, Korea. Later grandchildren serving included Dirk, Marine--Dan and Dave (twins) Army-- and Roger and Bill, Army and later great grandson Aaron, Marine and thanks to God, they all came home.
