One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, November 17, 2021

The Specialty Fair featured all kinds of crafts and products. Very nice.

Congratulations to all the athletes.

There will be basketball tournaments in Whitewater on November 20th. Call the Whitewater School for times etc.

People like to travel. Jason, Courtney Hellie and family went on a vacation to visit Makita (sister) in Florida.

Pam Wollsy went to Texas to visit and help her mother.

Whitewater has been busy. We have cowboys shipping in stockyards. There are hunters, many from out of state.

If you don’t want to eat meat, please donate to the local Food Bank. There are 2 local meat processors to help.

“Hello” to the Anderson Families. There are several new families in the Whitewater area.

If anyone has news or a story, call me or mail it to me

It will soon be Thanksgiving. Traditional dinner is turkey, mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes, and pie. My mom used to make delicious pies. Grandma Ella Austin made mince meat pies from scratch. They were delicious.

If traveling beware of the deer and drive careful. Christmas is coming soon. On TV, the Hallmark channel is showing Christmas shows.

If ordering gifts, order early. If you mail gifts, mail early (especially if mailing to Canada).

The US Canadian Border is open. However, get all information before traveling.

Have a good week!

Helen A.
