One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, November 24, 2021

Sympathy to the family of Steve Haag. He was a pastor of the Hi-Line Apostolic Church. He lived in Whitewater for many years. “Rest in Peace” Steve.

Get well wishes to all who are sick. We should all still be aware of the Covid virus too.

There was a dart tournament at the North 40 on Saturday night. FUN!

There was also a Green family reunion in Whitewater last weekend. All five of the children were there, Dale Green of Minnesota, Serena, Merrisa, Melanie, and Dallas. Some of their spouses and children came. They all had dinner at the North 40. Sally Austin, Reichelts, and I also attended, as did some of the Greens grandchildren.

Dallas Green had a friend come from Minnesota; they went deer hunting.

Anita Wishers cousin from South Carolina was visiting here in Whitewater.

Adam Hellie and family went to Billings to celebrate Taylor’s birthday. Happy Birthday to her and to all who are celebrating birthdays.

There was a turkey bingo and supper at the Whitewater School. Prizes and turkeys were given to the winners. They also had delicious pies for the supper too.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hector Murdock on the birth of their son. He joins three sisters at home. Hector is in the US Army.

Good Luck to all the basketball teams, especially our Whitewater Penguins/Mavericks.

Recently I saw a TV show about penguins in the Antarctic. The ice and snow are melting quickly due to Global Warming.

‘Hello” to my friend Irene Wendalyn in Chinook.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and don’t eat too much turkey. I always do.

Note: Start writing Christmas cards!

Helen A.
