Rock N' Roll Christmas!

Phillips County Historical Society is currently running its annual Christmas Festival

Many local businesses, groups, clubs, and individuals have decorated trees, wreaths, and swags for you to vote on at the Phillips County Museum. You can also put in a bid on those items along with many beautiful handmade crafts made by locals in the silent auction, or take a chance and put your name in a bucket to win some other wonderful holiday items.

"We have some really talented people in Malta," said P.C. Museum Curator Lori Taylor. "We've got a lot of wonderful holiday items for people to vote on and bid on this year."

Those wishing to vote, bid, or just view the items and take a selfie with the King of Rock and Roll should go to the Phillips County Museum during their regular hours. Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.(7:30 p.m. this Thursday). Or you can visit the museum's Facebook page to see all of the items and then call or Facebook message the museum for bidding on and voting for your favorites. Bucket drawing tickets are $5 for 15, and favorite vote coins are $5 for 20.

The voting/bidding will close this Thursday, December 2, at 6 p.m. at which time the votes will be tallied and bucket drawings will be made.

"The winners will be announced on KMMR Thursday, December 2, so bidders can retrieve and pay for their items," said Taylor.
