Mavs drop opening two games at Glasgow Showcase

The North Country Mavericks basketball team dropped a pair of games to start the season. The Team saw their first action of the year against Plentywood on Friday, December 3, at the Glasgow Showcase, and the Richey-Lambert Fusion on Saturday, December 4, at the Showcase.

In the Mavericks’ loss to Plentywood on Friday, Trey Johnson led with 20 points. Johnson knocked down four three-point shots in the effort.

In the Mavs’ loss to Richey-Lambert on Saturday, North Country was led by Albus who had 15 points. Johnson had 11 points. Blaine Downing scored nine points.
