HLRC receives $10,000 grant from PCCF

The Phillips County Community Foundation (PCCF) recently secured Covid-19 Funds for Rural Resiliency in the amount of $8800 through the Montana Community Foundation and regranted funds to benefit HiLine Retirement Center in Malta. PCCF contributed an additional $1200 to make a total grant award of $10,000.

According to PCCF board member, Anne Boothe "the regranting project has dedicated all funds to the retention and recruitment of workforce at HLRC impacted by Covid-19. Funds will be used to meet goals that help the center improve workforce and existing staff morale, including a thank you to employees or incentive to those vaccinated." According to Boothe a major purchase of Malta Chamber Dino Dollars has been distributed to employees and balance of funds will be used by HLRC to offset direct costs related to new employee recruitment and help them rebuild from the pandemic and capitalize on opportunities to ensure long-term resiliency in our community.

The Phillips County Community Foundation(PCCF) is an affiliate of the Montana Community Foundation. Designated endowment funds include PCCF endowment (that makes biannual grants to local projects), Phillips County Rural Fire Department, Malta Senior Citizens, Phillips County Historical Society, Little White Church and the Saco Methodist Church.
