One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for January 5, 2022

Sympathy to all homeless people in this cold season of winter.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022 TO ALL!!

Thanks to all who sent or gave me cards and gifts, also thank you to anyone who has helped me in any way in the past, especially in 2021.

Best of luck to all.

Happy Birthday to all January birthdays, especially Patty Young.

On December 23, 2021, Jean Green had a party for four visiting grandchildren, (Serena Venable’s) children. They also celebrated Sommer Green’s Birthday which came on Dec 31st. Happy Birthday to her.

Jeanie Green served a delicious dinner. Grandma Sally and I also attended. Very nice.

We all went to Jancie and Curt’s for an early dinner.

On Christmas day we prayed for others. In Whitewater, we hope David N. (school custodian husband) gets well soon. Also, Get well to Mr. Clark of Loring and all who are sick.

Christmas Eve, Whitewater Lutheran Church had a lovely candlelight service (I was honored to play piano) and beautiful carols at church. Some of our family members were there. This included Kenny Reichelt and baby girl, who is so adorable. They are visiting Jancie and Curt, since arriving to the USA from Africa, where she is from.

Welcome to Kenny and wife Evie and baby. It was a long journey for them from Ethiopia.

Anyway, they also attended Lutheran Church on Christmas Eve in Whitewater. The church was packed! Wonderful!!

Again, Happy New Year!

Keep warm despite these zero temperatures.

Helen A.
