Quiet benefactor leaves $498,660 legacy to three Phillips County organizations

Three Phillips County organizations were handed checks for $166,220.45 each last week thanks to the generosity of former Malta resident Henry Mulfinger.

Receiving the checks were the Phillips County Hospital Association, Phillips County Historical Society Inc., and the Malta Lutheran Church.
