City backs $6.4 million water system project
The Malta City Council met Monday night and endorses a draft report by a Great Falls engineering firm hired by the city to evaluate the state of its water system.
The council also voted to support the firm’s recommended alternative, a rehabilitation project with an estimated price tag of $6,441,000 that would require water rates to be raised $14.91 to an average of $36.41 a month.
