Victor M. Lefdahl (March 24, 1951 – March 17, 2022)

Victor M. Lefdahl, 70 passed away peacefully on March 17, 2022.  Vic was born March 24, 1951, in Glasgow, Montana to Lloyd and Beth (Hershman) Lefdahl. Vic graduated from Malta High School in 1969 and then attended Northern Montana College for two years.  Vic married Mary Boltz in 1972, together they raised 4 children.  Vic held several jobs during his life.  He worked as an elevator operator in Havre, Ronan, and Malta; he worked for Coors Distributing in Whitefish, Montana.  Vic worked for the Phillips County Road District and operated his own backhoe business while owning and operating the North 40 Bar & Cafe with his wife in Whitewater from 1984 to 1995.  He fulfilled a dream when he went to work at the Red Dog Mine in Alaska.

Vic loved the outdoors and was always ready for a day (or more) of hunting or fishing.  

Vic is survived by his wife of 49 years Mary.  Sister Rhonda (Dan) Malloy; brothers Reagan and Arne Lefdahl. Son Ryan Lefdahl; daughters Rana (Bill) Jesson, Michelle (Dennis) Simpson, and Kirsten Albus; sons-in-law Tom Farr and Aaron Albus.  10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Vic was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Beth Lefdahl, his brother Vaughn Lefdahl, and sister-in-law Rene Lefdahl.

There will be a Celebration of Life held April 2, 2022, 3:00 PM at 743 Buffalo Trail, Saco, MT.
