One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, May 25, 2022

A little less wind for a few days. Wednesday was still warm, but a front moved in on Thursday and the wind was blowing hard early. A wind advisory was in effect until 9 PM. The forecast was for colder weather all weekend. At least the sun was shining on Thursday along with the wind.

Graduation was celebrated Friday evening at 6 o’clock. Except for the wind, it was a nice evening for being out.

We appreciate Jerry Lankford for his help mowing and working on my mower on Saturday. Sure made a difference in appearance and was greatly appreciated.

I have lilacs in full bloom and the trees are pretty well leafed out now as are the raspberries. Spring is still trying to come----though Jerry said it was down to 27 degrees last night.

The Solberg family had many members and relatives here for Sarah Solberg Ostlund's funeral. She was a much-loved member of the family. The community sends condolences to all.

Birthday greetings to Mary Nordlund and all others having a birthday this week and all celebrating an anniversary or other special day of their lives, congratulations and have a good one!

Old people know more about being young than young people know about being old.

Hope everyone has a good and safe Memorial Day----remember all your past loved ones. Have a good week and keep hoping they are right that warmer weather is coming!!! Stay safe.
