One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, July 27, 2022

What a wonderful day for the Sunday Funday in Loring. The sun was shining, and a slight breeze was keeping the temperature down a bit. The people were either soaking up the rays or staying in the shade. The kids were climbing the water slides over and over again, and sliding down as quickly as possible! The food was awesome! Grilled burgers for lunch and pulled pork for supper! The community ladies brought salads and desserts!

No church at the Loring Lutheran next Sunday.

Walker Olson of Billings is visiting his grandparents, Leroy and Gale Simonson, for a few days.

David Stordahl and Rocco drove up from Billings on Sunday to help me get things sorted out in my house and the farmhouse. Quite a chore!

The great white harvester tore through Billings wreaking havoc at my sister's house right off Rimrock drive on Sunday. No hail at my grandkids' homes! Debbie said the hail came down for a very long time, about 30 minutes.

Cindy Clark and I went to Malta on Tuesday. I had Physical Therapy and Cindy picked up groceries. Cindy was the hostess for Loring Woman’s Club on Wednesday. Five members were in attendance to discuss the Fall Dance, raffle suggestions, and the future of the Loring Woman’s Club.

Liza Dyrdahl spent the afternoon with Dixie on Wednesday.

Have a great week! The Phillips County Fair is just around the corner! Be kind!
