Jaynes wins A-Main at 2022 PC Fair AMX

Saturday afternoon the tech men checked in cars in preparation for the AMX Races. Twenty-two cars were ready the strut their stuff and show their worth on the tracks. On a nicely groomed track, cars in the Stock and Super Stock categories were anxious for the starter gun to go off.

When the checkered flag dropped in the A Main race, Jamie Jaynes would claim first and take home the trophy. Dustin McKinney pushed Jamie to do his best, and McKinney took second place and the trophy. Austin Jaynes placed third.

Will Van Haur, Mathew Ayers and Luke Brown took home the Stock B Main titles, with Will and Mathew taking trophy hardware home. Stock Main C was won by Daryl Demarais.

It was 1-2-3 for Justin Stieg, Seth Hamilton and Willie Bice in the Super Stock Main.

No AMX is without the ponderance as to who had the worst luck of the day. Saturday was no exception. David Jaynes, Brett Jaynes and Frank Kindle were all in the running this time around. The Hard Luck Trophy was ultimately awarded to David. Some drivers have more Hard Luck trophies than they do for winning a race.

The volunteer that do the grounds maintenance and upkeep are worthy of a huge thank you for the track and grounds keeping.
