One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, September 7, 2022

School has started again so more kids are seen around on bikes and four wheelers (with more than two on them usually). So far they have been driving more slowly and not racing as much.

We are still having some record hot days and the nights are getting cooler all the time. We have had frost around Labor Day some years but so far have been lucky this year.

Glenn Dolphay has been keeping busy with his backhoe helping people repair sewer and water lines. Even helped me get my riding mower out of my garden the other day after I buried it (in the dry dirt). (Don't even ask!!)

Polly Solberg spent the day in Havre recently getting her glasses fixed and visiting friends.

The Foote's are still trying to get things done so they can leave for the winter. They plan to visit friends and family in the East before returning to California.

They are still working on the track at the school. Should have it finished soon I believe. Haven'nt noticed the usual number of kids out running and training that have been in the past. Sort of miss all the activity.

Happy Birthday greetings are sent to Barb Trembley as she celebrates another this week and to all the others celebrating one or an anniversary.

People who talk like walking encyclopedias should remember that reference books rarely circulate.

Enjoy your week and take advantage of the nice weather as long as it lasts.
