One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, October12, 2022

Looks like fall is definitely with us. The tree’s leaves in my yard are falling every day like snowflakes and most of the leaves are yellow. Lots of dew every morning and the sun is not so early.

They are still working on the sewer and water at Ava Welch's house. They seemed to have gotten it clear to the alley now. Hope it works with all the angles, etc.

Velyma Broadhead and her daughter have returned home and have been busy cleaning her yard for winter. (Cleanest yard in town!)

My great-grandson, Roper Leys of Choteau, was injured in an accident when the four-wheeler he was riding on was pulled into the bar pit by loose gravel and when the driver overcorrected, rolled, giving him a concussion, and messing up his face on the road surface. Thank the Lord---it could have been worse.

I’m still working at getting rid of 66 years of junk---mine and my kids! A person should move every 10 years and get rid of what they don't use any more. And the clothes, the closet shrinks for us all the time.

Ethel Siemens of Harlem is getting better after falling and hurting herself pretty good. We all wish her a good recovery.

The girls at the center sent in a couple good lunches. Keep up the good work girls.

Congratulations and good wishes to all having a birthday this week. To Mark and Sarese Pankratz and Jim and Delores Shettel we wish a Happy Anniversary, and anyone else having a anniversary, enjoy it and a wish for many more.

Our family was touring a historic mansion, where the guide was especially enthusiastic about its many charms. "This house is over a hundred years old," she commented proudly, " and not a post or beam in it has been repaired,” A visitor spoke up. "I'm sure we've got the same landlord." Bless them!

Have a good week and enjoy the good weather!!!!
