Sympathy to the flood victims everywhere.

Again, Happy New Year to all!

Did you watch the “Rose Bowl Parade” on TV? Awesome how there are so many beautiful flowers, especially blooming roses to make floats, when here in Montana we have so much snow and cold temperatures!

In Whitewater there were many guests at our lovely Christmas Eve service. This included Jean Greens children and grandchildren. They were Serena Venables son, Kyler, also Merissa Wahls children.

Curt and Janice Reichelt were in Whitewater recently. They spent Christmas in Colorado with children and grandchildren.

In Whitewater, there were sleigh rides followed by a potato bar at the North 40 Café.

The Whitewater school began again after the break.

Happy New Year to All!

Here’s a recipe for Taco Pie (from Sarah Dunbar Sublinna of Whitewater)

1 to 1 ½ pound of Hamburger

1 pkg of Taco Seasonings

1 small can of Tomato Sauce

1 pkg of cheddar cheese shredded

1 carton of sour cream

1 bag of potato chips

Unroll crescent rolls, place in a pie pan. Cover with handful of crushed chips. Brown hamburger and taco seasonings. Place meat on top of the chips with a dollop of sour cream on top, crush two more handfuls of chips on top or sour cream. Spread cheese overall. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Serve with choice of toppings, chopped tomato, lettuce, black olives, and onion chopped.

(This recipe was from the PC Fair Cookbook)

Enjoy!
